What is Shortcast AI?

Shortcast AI creates AI-powered summaries of your favorite podcasts using real voices, helping you stay up-to-date in a fraction of the time.

How does the AI summarization work?

Our AI analyzes the full podcast episode and creates a concise summary that captures the key points, insights, and takeaways in about 10 minutes or less.

Summaries are inspired by the original episodes and are not reproductions or substitutes.

What podcasts are supported?

We support a wide variety of popular podcasts across different categories including business, technology, health, education, and entertainment.

What languages are supported?

Primary Support: English podcasts work best with our AI summarization.

Common Languages: We also support most common languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and others.

Limited Support: Some other languages may not be fully supported or may have reduced quality in AI processing.

How do I request a new podcast?

You can add new podcasts directly inside the app with a Premium subscription. Simply paste the podcast RSS feed URL and we'll start processing episodes for you.

What are the pricing plans?

Free: Listen to featured podcasts

Premium: Add your own podcasts (up to 5 - may change in the future). Choose the billing option that works for you:

  • Monthly: $9.99 per month
  • Yearly: $99.99 per year
