What is going on everybody, John Middlecoff, three-in-out podcast. Not many folks are having a better day than Joe Brady, who just landed the Bills job, and I’m still stunned Bill Belichick didn’t get first-ballot Hall of Fame votes; we’ll hit Brady, Dayball to Sala, the Jets chaos, that Hall talk, and a fast mailbag.

On Buffalo elevating Joe Brady: this cements Brandon Beane as one of the most powerful GMs in the league. It’s a seamless move the quarterback clearly backed, the scheme stays intact, and Brady sold them on CEO chops after that early LSU rocket ship and the weird Carolina detour.

The pressure is massive. The Bills’ bar is higher than almost anyone’s, and anything short of a deep January run will feel like a miss; think AFC title game as the baseline. The defense needs situational gains, Jim Leonhard would be a strong DC add, and Beane now owns the outcome.

On Belichick getting snubbed for first ballot: it’s embarrassing. Personal grudges don’t change that he sits on any coaching Mount Rushmore; if he’s not an immediate Hall of Famer, who is?

Question: Should the Steelers spend a mid-rounder on Klubnik or Nussmeier as a developmental swing? Answer: Hard pass. Klubnik doesn’t pop, and Nussmeier’s arm fits a dome more than AFC outdoor weather; that division demands juice from your quarterback.

Question: Are the Haslams just a discount Jerry Jones? Answer: Not really. He meddles but isn’t the constant front-facing show; the optics around the coaching search aren’t great, but Schwartz is a legitimate defensive pillar they’re trying to keep.

Question: Why the love for Stefanski and Kevin O’Connell? Answer: I’d ride with O’Connell for how he connects and what he’s squeezed from QBs, though I wish he’d run it more; Stefanski’s run-first DNA plays in big games, but I question how much players truly vibe with him.
