About this episode
The WNBA’s Sophie Cunningham and Bravo’s West Wilson start by sending love and prayers to Australia, before diving headfirst into NFL news as the Kansas City Chiefs are officially eliminated from the playoffs, sparking big feelings and bigger takes. From there, it’s rapid-fire sports madness: Philip Rivers balling out for the Indianapolis Colts, Sophie reminiscing on nearly laying someone out on special teams while she was a high school kicker, her unfortunate middle finger mishap, and a behind-the-scenes story tale of Sophie’s visit to Adidas Headquarters. College football fans buckle up as Montana vs. Montana State reignites, Notre Dame raises eyebrows by skipping a bowl game, and Sophie and West attempt the impossible — ranking the drunkest NFL fan bases (yes, Bills Mafia gets their flowers). Things get even weirder (in the best way) with throwback footage of young West and “Ketchup Kenny,” news of John Cena retiring from WWE, a very real debate over whether Timothée Chalamet could be a rapper, and a look ahead to the FIFA World Cup coming to the U.S. 00:00 - START 3:40 - Sending love & prayers Australia 4:50 - Kansas City Chiefs Eliminated 11:10 - Phillip Rivers balls out 13:40 - Sophie’s Special Teams Almost tackle 16:10 - Sophie’s messed up middle finger 17:00 - Sophie’s visit to Adidas Headquarters 20:30 - Montana vs Montana State Again! 23;30 - Notre Dame skips Bowl Game 27:20 - Ranking Drunkest NFL Fan Bases 30:00 - Shoutout to the Bills Mafia 31:26 - Young West & Ketchup Kenny Video 33:15 - John Cena retires from WWE 36:30 - Is Timothée Chalamet a rapper? 40:32 - Global Soccer Tournament in USA Get an Arby's Double Roast Beef or Double Beef 'n Cheddar in-store or Doordashed today. https://www.arbys.com/ Shop SKIMS Fits Everybody Collection at https://www.skims.com/showme #skimspartner Give yourself the gift of luxury and make every moment comfortable. Episode summary
We opened laughing about wrestling, me and my sister doing fake matches, and me pitching a tag‑team WWE run for us one day. It’s episode twenty‑five of Show Me Something, and we’re amped to start bringing guests on and maybe even do some in‑person shows when I’m in New York.
New York in the snow felt movie‑level cozy, and I’m down to crowdsource guest ideas since our worlds are so different. Before we dive in, big hug to everyone in Australia after that awful Hanukkah event, and respect to the bystander who stopped the attacker.
It’s official, the Chiefs are out, and it stung, but I’m not piling on after a run like this. There have been worse eras, and this is more a reset than a collapse.
We’ve been spoiled, so a humbling year happens, but Patrick is in his prime and I want more help around him. I love Travis, but he and the older core need fresh firepower so we don’t waste this window.
Hanging on to legends a bit too long is okay when they built the house, and this early offseason is a rare gift for Andy, Brett, and Patrick to retool. I still trust them to nail it.
Use the rest of the year to get healthy and let new guys pop, then come back swinging next season. Dynasty energy doesn’t vanish because of one bad winter.
Wild scene yesterday with Philip Rivers back under center and throwing vintage fist pumps like it’s a time machine. He’s been coaching high school with a similar scheme, so he’s sharper than people think.
I still felt for the guys grinding all year who watched him parachute in. It reminded me of being a high school kicker and almost throwing my body into a kickoff tackle before my coach yanked me back because I had D1 hoops ahead.
Some kickers hunt contact and some want no part of it, but I get why they protected you. Same reason I told Vinnie Pasquantino not to risk a jammed finger at a rec game.
Portland surprised me, and the Adidas campus is gorgeous with gyms, fields, and great coffee spots. We shot looks, the streetwear is elite, and their stores overseas feel almost high‑fashion, so let’s hit Germany when we can.
Co‑sign on Adidas as a streetwear leader, and the Korea stores were flames. My calendar’s open now, so let’s make the campus trip happen.
I’m buzzing for Montana State versus Montana in the playoffs for the first time ever, with North Dakota State out and the path wide open. It’s in Bozeman, it’ll be chaos, and clean‑sweeping a rival is hard.
If I’m free, I’m there, and I refuse to speak anything but a sweep. Go take it.
How do you feel about Notre Dame saying no to a bowl game?
It’s absurdly soft and beneath a brand that big; real programs don’t bail when they’re mad at the bracket. Also, funny wrinkle for BYU’s game sponsor when half the crowd doesn’t drink coffee.
Agree completely. Be grateful to play and use the bowl to prove a point, not pout.
Headline time: a survey ranked the drunkiest NFL fan bases, so guess who tops the list.
No shot the Cardinals are number one. I’ve been to that stadium.
Putting the Bills near the top I get, but the Chargers on there and the Packers dead last makes the whole list a joke. Chiefs in the twenties is just as silly.
Shout out Bills Mafia either way. Legends tailgate hard.
Bills fans were awesome when I filmed with them; they did the bowling ball shot and ketchup man bit and treated us like family. Media wants Chiefs and Bills fans at each other’s throats, but those trips were nothing but love.
That ketchup bath made my stomach flip. I could smell the mustard through the screen.
Next: John Cena is retiring from WWE.
He was my childhood favorite, and I’d still love to do a wrestling duo with us for a night. Thank you for the memories, John.
Wrestling never hooked me, but Cena’s a lovable screen presence and legit funny, like in Trainwreck. Seems like a genuinely good guy.
One more: rumor mill says Timothée Chalamet might be the masked UK rapper SD Kid.
His run has been crazy, and he won over sports fans by nailing picks on GameDay. Also, I accidentally wore a new shirt with the tag still on during this episode, so shout out to my attention to detail.
World Cup lands in North America, Arrowhead is a host, and there’s a world where Messi faces Ronaldo there. Austria’s group plays in Kansas City too, and I’m dreaming about getting my ninety‑seven‑year‑old Oma in the building.
Ronaldo was my childhood crush, that ring is giant, and I love the Oma idea. Let’s try to make it happen.
My pick is France, and I’m begging the USA to lock in. If you’re in Kansas City, the Power and Light watch parties are incredible for US games.
This keeps getting more fun, and I love where we’re headed with guests and in‑person moments. Weekly catch‑ups are the best.
Just when we hit a groove, we’re tossing a third mic in next week. See you then.
