Stat of the Day: the Raiders mustered seventy-five total yards, yet Geno has fewer turnovers than Tua; and in Miami the entire scheme tries to protect him, but the giveaways spike anytime he pushes beyond the safe throws.

He even airmailed a two-point try and was laughing on the sideline down big—awful optics on a night full of bad decisions.

Strip away Tyreek and the one-step-and-fire system, and you’re left with a pedestrian quarterback; the line and run game haven’t been the weekly problem, which makes the most expensive piece the real flaw.

I get why everyone’s out, but I’m staying pragmatic for one more year unless a clear upgrade appears.
