Welcome into the FantasyPros Football Podcast. It’s Super Bowl week, I’m Ryan Warmly with Andrew Erickson, and yes, we’re diving into Patriots–Seahawks picks after a rowdy team trip to New Orleans—how’s the recovery, man?

Feeling good for once after travel. I pre-loaded the vitamin C, stayed on sleep, and avoided the usual post-trip bug.

I definitely caught a touch of Bourbon Street, but it was worth the late nights. Let’s pivot: Seahawks minus four and a half, total forty five and a half—your Pats are here, how’s the fan pulse?

I love the underdog lane for New England in this new Vrabel–Drake May chapter, with McDaniels back calling it on the big stage. We’ll be live on BettingPros pregame, and I’ll keep my watch party tight so I can lock in.

Given the long runway with Vrabel and May, does that lower the pressure a bit, or is it still white-knuckle time?

Big picture it’s gravy, but if they jump ahead, expectations flip fast. It’s a wild pairing anyway—both teams started the year at long odds.

I think the first half sets the tone; if someone gets up double digits, it may stick. Against the spread, where are you?

Patriots plus four and a half, and I like the moneyline. They match up better with Seattle than the Rams: elite run D to squeeze Kenneth Walker, Gonzalez to battle JSN enough, and interior pressure where Seattle is soft; then lean on the Patriots’ deep shots and Drake May’s legs to create explosives.

I’m Seahawks minus four and a half, though less confident than early; if it’s tight, I trust Vrabel to steal it, but the bigger-win path skews Seattle. This defense has been lights out since Thanksgiving outside of the Rams, and New England’s offense hasn’t solved top defenses in January; the swing matchup is Seattle’s passing game vs the Patriots’ secondary.

I see it the same way: Seahawks in a comfy win or Pats by a kick, so consider alternates or the New England moneyline. Note Drake May’s rough weather splits and that Mike McDonald’s rematch magic vs McVay and Shanahan doesn’t really apply here to a McDaniels offense he hasn’t seen.

Total for me is the under forty five and a half, driven by McDonald’s edge with two weeks to cook against a young QB behind a shaky line. Both run defenses are sturdy, and a Darnold wobble is a live risk, so I’ll side with defense over star QB, echoing last year’s better-team vs better-quarterback tug-of-war.

I’m under too, and I like the first half under twenty three and a half even more. The Patriots’ offense has been under sixteen per game in the playoffs, both staffs can start run-heavy, McDaniels’ Super Bowl first halves tend to be slow, and both quarterbacks are managing bumps and bruises.

One more nudge toward the under: Clint Kubiak taking the Raiders job could be a small, human distraction on the Seahawks’ offensive prep.

Totally fair—these are people, and even a sliver of bandwidth elsewhere can matter.

Props: my favorite is Jackson Smith-Njigba over six and a half receptions. Backup pick is Drake May over thirty seven and a half rushing yards given how he runs when the passing stalls.

Gonzalez can win late-down moments, but JSN can still pile catches. For a fun long shot, consider Drake May to lead the game in rushing if both run defenses stonewall the backs.

I’d want the right price, since Walker and Stevenson own volume, but May has flashed sixty-plus on the ground in big spots.

My best bet is Travion Henderson over a half reception. Seattle allows the most catches to running backs, negative script helps, and there’s juicy ladder value on his receiving yards if usage bumps up.

My best bet is the game under forty five and a half. Two elite defensive minds with extra time and two offensive lines with questions points me there.

I did get the Hard Rock app working in Florida and immediately suffered a brutal Bruins bad beat. That’s my cue to retire from NHL betting.
