It’s motivation, not envy. Seeing someone level up shows what’s possible and pushes me to move right, celebrate good people winning, and give Khaled his flowers for bringing us together at Art Basel and this golf tournament.

Before you tee off, talk about Jamaica. You didn’t just post, you pulled up.

I felt called to go, so with Mona Scott-Young and PJ Kev we loaded the jet and hit the ground without politics or photo ops, then set a Miami fundraiser at the Bath Club through Don Peebles, with donations going to Reach Out Worldwide, Paul Walker’s charity; attention fades fast after disasters, so we’re keeping support moving and heading back with Busta.

Angie, you’re out here golfing in the cold. How’d the bug bite you, and why do folks stay wack for 20 years?

I tried it for the vibes, hit one pure shot, and got hooked; golf is brutal because a great putt tricks you into thinking you can be Tiger when you can’t, and that chase keeps you coming back.

I tell people I don’t watch your show so I don’t steal your moves, and you checked me early about talking like the person is right in front of me.

That’s the rule—if I wouldn’t say it to your face, I won’t say it on camera; my pod’s about real conversations, like Bun B dropping grown-man game on being a protector and a stand-up husband, and yes, both of you need to come on.

Classic Pun story time: at the Puerto Rican Day Parade a dude tried us, chaos broke out on the Harlem River Bridge, I’m stopping folks from tossing him over, months later detectives grab me, and Pun shows up at the precinct in a leather suit with champagne—next thing you know we’re locked in, eating like kings, Pun making calls, and I’m realizing my brother turned a nightmare into a movie.

We’re still on the green, and we’ve got one of the best in tennis with us. Taylor, how do singles and doubles hit you, and where’s that power come from?

Singles is a personal test where I solve problems alone, and doubles brings my leadership out because I focus on making my partner comfortable so we can be great together.

Do you scout opponents or yourself, and are you giving your coach that eye contact?

I study my own film more because what you feel versus what you’re actually doing can be miles apart, I lean on my coach for the plan, and I’m not big on blaming anyone—if it doesn’t work, that’s on me.

How heavy is the training when you’re basically playing 11 months a year?

The off-season is around six weeks, so most of the year is maintenance and travel; it’s tough physically and mentally, but I’ve stayed away from major injuries, and seeing someone like Novak still excel is incredible.

You pulled up to Turks and Caicos, first time on a golf course, and you chef it up on IG—people love seeing you do normal life while you dominate courts.

Fight talk. Netflix on the seventeenth, Jake Paul versus Anthony Joshua—I like Jake because he brings the bag, the promo, and he doesn’t take risks he can’t control.

I’m rolling with AJ by knockout; I’m a fan of the Paul brothers, but if Joshua touches that chin it’s lights out, and the odds reflect it with Jake as a big underdog.

College football heads, tap in. We’ve got Malacatoni, doing everything for the number one squad and tossing touchdowns like it’s easy. How’s it feel to go national at eighteen?

It’s a blessing coming from South Florida where a lot of talent doesn’t get seen, so I take pride in showing what our city produces.

Rookie of the Year in the ACC—where were you when you got the call, and what’s driven you through the doubt?

I was getting a new car with my mom when she started screaming, and it hit me how all the late nights and people calling me too small led to this moment.

What do you want the Jits back home to see when they watch you?

That it’s possible if you work and handle school, and when kids come to games I give them gloves or anything I can to make it real for them.

You boys built in that South Florida heat, but you snagged that one-hander in the cold too; politics aside, when you get the chance, you make it count.
