I see a drift into anti-Israel purity tests I won’t follow; I won’t take that money, I back hitting Iran’s proxies, and I’m alarmed when a candidate with a Nazi tattoo and hard-left baggage is treated as acceptable.

Why has it all become so polarized that agreement on anything across the aisle feels impossible?

Too many in my party punish pro-Israel views while excusing real extremism. I still believe in no shutdowns, a secure border that deports criminals, and basic respect for Trump voters without slurs or dehumanizing language.

Who’s actually leading the Democratic Party right now?

There’s no clear leader, and too much of the conversation is driven by Trump Derangement Syndrome. I’m the only Democrat I see openly cheering a hard hit on Iran and asking allies to help reopen the straits.

What’s the exit path from Iran, and what does success look like?

I can’t give a timetable, but Iran’s leadership looks rattled, its proxies degraded, and it’s down to firing drones at civilians. The job is to disarm and hold a dangerous regime to account, which both parties have long wanted.

NATO allies won’t help with the strait; is the alliance fraying?

I’m proud of American leadership and think oil consumers should share the burden. We can finish the job without them if we must, but they should step up.

People fear another Iraq or Afghanistan.

This isn’t nation building; it’s dismantling a dangerous regime now to avoid a far worse and more expensive crisis later.

Some argue Israel has undue influence in U.S. politics, and you’ve had AIPAC support. How do you respond?

That veers into antisemitic tropes. Israel is fighting a just war, and the real emergency is surging antisemitism on campuses and in the streets.

The Save Act revives voter ID; do you support the concept?

I’m fine with a clean real ID to vote bill and I defend mail ballots as safe. The current bill is overloaded, so I won’t back it as written.

How much election fraud have you actually seen, and what about non-citizen voting?

In 2020 Pennsylvania, I saw no systemic fraud—just a few cases, mostly Republicans using dead relatives. Heritage counts approximately seventy-seven non-citizen cases since 1999, so let’s focus on ID without the distractions.

Why do many Democrats still oppose voter ID?

I won’t tell eighty-some percent of Americans they’re racist for wanting ID; Wisconsin passed ID while electing a liberal justice, which shows how broadly acceptable it is.

You were the lone Democrat to fund DHS; where’s your line on ICE?

Never shut government. I backed the Laken Riley bill, called for Mayorkas to go, and want tough, respectful enforcement that targets criminals, not workers keeping farms alive; I’m pro-immigration and support Dreamers.

Why do you think the border was opened?

I was stunned by the shift after running on security, and I think we paid a political price; Republicans should also learn that heavy-handed optics don’t help their case.

On debt and waste, can Congress act like adults?

The debt worries me, Social Security needs small actuarial fixes, and none of it gets solved until both sides stop the brawling and get serious about rooting out fraud without smears.

With inequality rising, wealth taxes and an AI moratorium are on the table. Thoughts?

I don’t demonize billionaires, and I think wealth taxes and freezing AI would backfire; handing AI leadership to China is a terrible idea, and the loudest far-left slogans don’t win real races.

Farmers are hurting—what helps?

I stand with farmers facing tariffs and labor shortages, and I tie ag health to smarter immigration and stable support so they can earn a living.

You want to save the party, not leave it, even with mixed in-party approval; how do you carry this forward, and will you run in 2028?

A newer poll has me roughly even with Democrats, I’m focused on Israel, Iran, and moral clarity that leads to real peace, and I’m not planning 2028 right now.
