Why Stanford, and what sealed it for you?
School came first for my family, I majored in Management Science and Engineering, loved the campus and staff, and the offer came for both me and my twin, which made it feel right.
How much did home floors and travel shape the tournament grind?
Home games are a huge edge, and after COVID we chartered far more, which changed everything on the road.
What do you miss most about those college trips?
You’re together nonstop—meals, classes, study sessions—while in the W it’s more independent with families and real life in the mix.
You and Lacey played through the bubble; what did that bond mean then?
Having my twin in a locked‑down season felt like home inside the chaos, and our on‑court telepathy made the grind lighter.
Off days and travel vibes—what refuels you, and what do you hunt down in new cities?
Give me sun and water, then sushi by the coast or a great Italian or steak spot, and I always scout for ice cream and cookies because dessert is a nightly ritual; a soft bed, good pillows, and blackout curtains make hotels feel right.
What’s made Indianapolis special for you?
We went from a handful of wins and small crowds to packed arenas and real momentum, and the Fever fan base loves the stars and also celebrates the charges, hustle, and dirty‑work energy, which makes showing up a joy.
How does it feel to see kids finding themselves in you now?
It’s surreal to spot a ten in the stands, and with TV and social media, boys and girls can see us early and dream bigger than we could.
Rivalries and Madness—what lights you up?
I love a spicy back‑and‑forth, die‑hard fanbases, and underdog runs, especially when a senior class finally breaks through.
Walk us through game day and your ideal road cadence.
Routine keeps me grounded—film the night before, a pregame nap, locked‑in shootaround—and I love getting in late the night prior for dinner; at Stanford we were clockwork with the same pasta‑salmon pregame meal.
Quick game—Pack it or Pass it—what actually makes your bag?
Pack a small charger, a sleep mask, and flavored electrolytes; pass the neck pillow, packing cubes, and bringing my own pillow, and while I love a real book, a Kindle wins on flights.
You’ve got a new venture; what are you building for busy athletes and fans?
We’re launching a long‑wear setting spray with drop‑style releases, my co‑founder Sarah left private equity to dive in, and even football players want it to keep eye black in place; my pregame makeup is light but intentional, and matching travel sets keep tunnel fits easy.
