I come in loose, joking about hoops, then settle in and welcome you back for two things today: Arman Tsarukyan’s surge and a real check‑in with Max Holloway.
What changed with Arman? He doesn’t fight to pay bills, so when a short‑notice title shot in Los Angeles got messy, he walked, trust dipped, and it felt like limbo.
He rebuilt through activity and wins, then cranked up the extras with wrestling, grappling, and boxing outside the cage so people kept seeing him compete.
He crushed a media run, did numbers on my show, went viral with playful stunts, and kept the lifestyle content rolling, which made the industry take notice.
My advice now is simple: ease off just a touch, avoid a misstep, and let the work cash out because he’s right at the title door and the next winner likely meets him.
Then I asked Max a straight one: did that BMF result oddly push you closer to Conor, and do you want it?
Max said he’s training because he wants that fight more than anything, and he wants to rewrite what happened when he was just a kid the first time.
For Conor’s return I always saw three lanes: Diaz for pure box office, Chandler for fireworks, and Max for the hardest test, and now the first two are off the table.
As grown men, Max versus Conor would be electric and would do massive numbers because both names move the needle.
